Freedom of Speech? What Freedom of Speech?
Nancy Pelosi can threaten those of us who don't want a Mosque built on or
near the site of the destruction caused, reportedly, by Muslims, on September
11, 2001; and our fearless golfer can promote a religion that, according to
its bible - the Koran - is bent on killing any non-Muslims; and they are
each hailed as a great “something,” but no one is sure what that something
might be.
Pelosi is great at spending taxpayers' dollars on transportation, what with
her new jet and all. The fearless golfer is great at the same thing. He
managed to take an entourage of 500 with him to Eng-land, and among them
were six doctors. Should we have some concerns about the health of our
fearless golfer? I would venture to guess that there is one doctor for every
500 troops in Afghanistan, and they are getting shot at! But our fearless
golfer is impo'tant.
If we decide to take the power to exercise one of our natural rights and
speak out against something that we don't like, we are threatened with an
investigation - paid for with our own tax dollars! Isn't that exciting!?
We have the unholy trinity of Reid, Pelosi, and our fearless golfer, to
make sure that we don't say anything politically incorrect. Their backup is
the very politically correct Bill Maher. The man who wrote that the members
of our Congress (both the Senate and the House of Representatives) should
ignore the wishes of the people because the “constituents are stupid.”
Bill Maher, who is among the constituents, is the stupidest of all because the
brethren of our fearless golfer are bent on destroying all members of his
religion - first. Mr. Maher has the unalienable right to speak his mind and
insult his audience and make a fool of himself. I will be the first to
defend his right to do so.
We, the people, have the right to whatever we wish, as long as we harm no
one in getting what we wish. That is contrary to the teachings of the
experimental psychologists who have taken over the educational system in our once
great Nation. The psychologists teach our children that situational
ethics is the order of the day. If it feels good, do it. There are no
consequences to our actions, according to the Experimental Psychologists. I am
thoroughly convinced that that viewpoint is the root cause behind the criminal
activity of many of our elected officials. A reckoning is coming, and
there will be hell to pay, in a manner of speaking, by those who have deceived
us. Deception is promoted by the unholy Koran, by the way.
There are many deceivers amongst us. The State worker who does not do the
job fully for which he is paid, is a deceiver. When we see several trucks
along the side of the road with 8 or 10 men standing around doing nothing,
we are looking at a group of deceivers. When our children come home from
the public indoctrination center after a hard day of learning how to blame
someone else for their condition, we see the result of a group of highly paid
deceivers. They're called teachers. To be sure, many of the teachers
have a desire to see students learn, but the deceivers in the government make
the situation in the schools so difficult that the teachers cannot teach, or
are not allowed to teach. The power of these teachers to exercise their
right to do their jobs is interfered with by the teachers' unions, the
government(s) and the foolishness of the Experimental Psychologists.
The loving parents who want their children educated are being deceived by
the government and others. The student who desires to be a teacher is
deceived by the system that will teach him or her to teach. The enthusiasm of a
young graduate that is going into the teaching profession is soon turned
into helplessness, hopelessness, and apathy by the system that stops them from
teaching the truth.
Our young students are taught that they have the freedom of speech, as long
as the speech is politically acceptable. If one were to say, “I love dead
terrorists,” would that be considered hate speech? If I say that I love
something, that is not hate speech, in my opinion, but could it be construed
as such?
Freedom of speech is considered by some as being able to use foul language
in public utterances, such as a radio or television broadcast. To be sure,
it is such. But is it smart to make obvious that one has a limited
vocabulary? Freedom of speech is a touchy thing in this day and age. Just as it
was in the time leading up to the American Revolution of the late 18th
century. We must rely on the Ultimate Power when we use our own power to exercise
our natural and inherent right to freedom of speech, or of the press, or of
religion, unless we want to preach the good of murder and mayhem of certain
hate-filled and deceitful members of the Islam religion.

Trustworthiness? What trustworthiness?

Most of us would like to enjoy a good reputation. We would like to be known as down to earth, honest, reliable, and things of that nature. There are those amongst us who really don't care about their reputations. Charles Manson comes to mind. Jeffrey Dahmer is another who falls into the category of someone who doesn't care about his good name.

Many politicians, it seems, appear to care about as much as a Manson or a Dahmer regarding their own good name when it comes to their personal or business reputation.

Honesty? What Honesty?

In the course of human events, or to be less flowery, during life, we meet people that we like and we assume that they are trustworthy. We trust them to do the right thing. The trust is sometimes misplaced.

We trust that they will respect our opinions, beliefs, and friendships. We sometimes should be more careful with new “friends” and even old ones.

The problem with public housing is that the residents are not the owners. The people that live in the house did not earn the house, but were loaned the property from the true owners, the taxpayers. Because of this, the residents do not have the “pride of ownership” that comes with the hard work necessary to gain that pride. In fact, the opposite happens and the residents resent their benefactors because the very house is a constant reminder that they themselves did not earn the right to live in the house. They do not appreciate the value of the property and see no need to maintain or respect it in any way.

The result is the same whether you are talking about a studio apartment or a magnificent mansion full of priceless antiques. If the people who live there do not feel they earned the privilege, they will make this known through their actions.

The picture above illustrates the point.

The Resolute Desk was built from the timbers of the HMS Resolute and was a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes. It is considered a national treasure and icon of the presidency. Mr. Obama, with all due respect, get your feet off our desk!

Dis-Ease? What Dis-Ease?

There is a dis-ease that has been around since time immemorial. It has never been properly diagnosed. It is highly contagious, and can be deadly. History books are full of reports of people with the dis-ease, but it has never been described as a dis-ease. And many doctors would not recognize it as a dis-ease. Nor would the pharmaceutical companies recognize it as a dis-ease. If it were recognized by either of the foregoing groups, a cure surely would have been attempted. And I'm almost certain a cure would have been found.

There are many types of dis-ease. Some are caused by viruses, or unfriendly bacteria; other dis-eases may be caused by a projectile sent from a metal tube, which -upon impact - can be fatal, or at least cause some pain, great or small. And of course there are dis-eases of the mental variety. Some person may think that he or she is more than a human being - such as someone with a God complex. Or maybe someone - like Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State, who gets messages from Eleanor Roosevelt - could have a mental disorder. That particular dis-ease would be called insanity, or (in simple terms) being crazy as a bedbug. And the sanity of anyone who had anything to do with putting such a person in a position of power should be questioned.
